Outlook Signature Issue

We are running an Exchange 2003 server and our clients Outlook 2003 on their
desktops.
One of my users did something to her outlook, she's not sure, but when she
opens a New Mail Message her signature is surrounded by paragragh symbols.
I've tried creating a new signature, and have tried everything I can, but
cannot get these liitle symbols to disappear.
