Outlook rules

Hey all,

I have two questions.

1) is there a way of invoking a rule a day after an e-mail has arrived. I
receive a number of e-mail during the day which I want to be able to refer to
through the day. However come the next day, I would not need them and I put
them in their respective folders. I deally I would like to come in the office
the next day and the rule has been invoked overnight and all of yesterdays
e-mails have been put in their folders.

2) My outlook has been playing up and when I receive an e-mail 20 minutes
later it goes to a "read" status. bit annoying. If i read it and then mark it
as unread it will stay unread forever. Is there a rule where I can set it to
be read when it comes in.

Many thanks,

Luke

1) No, but you can easily work around this with Search Folders in Outlook
2003. Move all the mail directly and create a Today's Mail Search Folder

2) Yes, there is a rule for that but I don't see how that would address your
issue. At least the version of Outlook and type of account would be handy to
know on this issue.
