Just today, after months of perfect operation, an Outlook box has continually
popped up titled "enter network password." It won't stop even with clicking
the remember password box. I've checked, and my email account settings are
fine, set to remember password.
In any case, after months of perfect operation, this has started happening.

Help.

i appreciate the response. I'm concerned about doing what is recommend here
because of the warning about how a small mistake can trash the OS. Is there
any other solution? A colleague, who shares the same exchange server, started
having exactly the same issue at the same time so I don't know my issue is
this.

Thanks.

It seems like over the past few days many, many people are suddenly having
the same problem. If you search this forum for 'Network Passwords' you will
see what I mean!!

The same issue you have started on my PC today Feb 4th.

My email account, my ISP and Outlook have worked fine ever since I set them
up (over a year ago), This has just starting today out of the blue, like
everyone else.

With me, I open Outlook, and basically the network password pop up box just
keeps coming and coming. Whatever I do, whether I click OK, or re enter the
name and password, whether I click SAVE THE PASSWORD, or anything, it just
keeps popping back up.

When I check the email account details all my password and user name details
are fine.

Please, please post back up here if you find a solution. The window in
front of me is looking very tempting to throw this PC through it at the
moment!!!

Thanks

No other solutions that I know of. Did you read the article about the
registry which is described and linked to in the article I shared with you?
You should be able to back up your registry before starting the procedure and
then restore it if anything goes wrong.
