Outlook Express not resolving passwords

After setting up two mail accounts on my new Dell Dimension 3000/XP Home, the
mail passwords would not work, so I called Verizon support and they spent an
hour - with control of my computer - finally assuring me that my the settings
were correct, and that the problem was with Outlook Express. Any ideas out
there about where I go from here?

Where do you go from here? To an Outlook Express newsgroup would be a good
