Password issues

I use MSN for my e-mail and am having a terrible time setting Outlook 2003 up
for e-mail. When I go to set up e-mail accounts I enter my e-mail address,
logon, and password, just like it asks for. I check the box that says
REMEMBER PASSWORD and then finish up the task. When I attempt to retrieve
mail I get a password error that says I have a bad password. I KNOW that I'm
using the correct password. It does this on all the HTTP e-mail accounts
that I attempt to set up. When I start Outlook it repeatedly asks for my
e-mail password and never does connect. I have set Outlook up on other
machines and I am using Outlook Express on this laptop until I get Outlook
straightened out. What gives? Why does Outlook refuse to believe who I am.

Sorry John, I can't help you on this but I want to add that I'm having
exactly the same problem with Outlook 2003. It doesn't accept my password.
I've tried re-installing it several times and am careful when entering the
password. I get a response "ERR invalid user/password, Server Error
0x800CCC90, Error Number 0x800CCC92". It's getting frustrating. I'm using
Yahoo for my e-mail.

Does anyone out there more knowledgeable about these things than I am have a
suggestion I might try?

What type of Outlook account are you creating (POP, IMAP, HTTP)? Is this a
free or paid Yahoo account?
