Could someone please help a damsel in distress.

Joanne
I have tried this but it does not work
Hi, Joanne,

Go to Start, Run, and type the following including the quotes:

"Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" REG 8

and hit Enter.

Reboot

This should setup Outlook Express as your mail handler.

Good Luck,
Jerry

Outlook Express is my email package.

In options clicking Make this my default does not work.
When I try to email a photo an Outlook window opens.

Help please!

Hi Joanne,

Let's try to make it the default by going to Control Panel > Internet
Options > Programs Tab, going to the e-mail option, clicking on the
arrow at the right and selecting Outlook Express from the dropdown
menu. Click Apply, then reboot.

Check it now, does it work?

There's a second option if you have installed the patch SP1 if the
above doesn't work. Go to Start > and click on 'Configure access and
default programs; tick personalize, click the double arrow at the
right and a dropdown menu will appear, where it says 'Choose a default
e-mail program' tick Outlook Express. Tick 'Enable access to this
program,' click Accept.

Good luck
