Outlook emial account export

Hi,

Is it possible to export my email account detail.

In Outlook 200 I was able to export my email accounts for backup purposes,
the same option doesn't appear to be there with Outlook XP.

Don't believe the option has been taken away, just can't find it!

You can download Outlook backup from the Office web site. Or you can export
your Outlook Data file. Choose Export to File, Personal Folder File (pst) and
save that. Outlook Backup is the best way.

Outlook doesn't have a built-in way to export account information. There are
third party utilities you can use though.

Thanks, I've downloaded the Outlook backup which hopefully will back up all
my data and accounts.

It will not back up accounts, only the pst. Accounts are stored in the
registry.

A long winded approach is to import accounts to OE, then export accounts in
OE to hd.
