Try File-Export instead.

In Outlook, click File>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail Account
Settings will import the account.

When I click on it the response is "no interent accounts were found ...". Any
idea why Oultlook 2007 is not seeing my WLM accounts?

I'm not sure whether Outlook can pull accounts from WLM. I know it can from
WIndows Mail, but WLM was introduced after Outlook 2007. It's a simple
matter to set your accounts up manually. Why not do so?

I guess I'll have to do it manually. I have 3 email accounts with thousands
of messages and it will take a while to sync outlook.

Why would it take very long? I believe WLM will allow you to export your
messages to Outlook.

How? I've tried everythin on the import and export menus. The only option to
export messages from live mail is to Exchange. This produces a message store
that can't be read by Outlook. How do you get Live Mail to produce a pst file
or importable files?

I believe Exchange is the correct option and it will export directly into
Outlook without creating any intermediate file. I'll have to test it at
home.

OK I found the settings, but before I discovered it was working I had done
the export twice. Stuff goes into a new subfolder without any message or
warning. All in all, one of the worst user interfaces I've ever seen. Why
would a program intended for general users label an export to Outlook an
export to exchange? The first time I did it it built an Exchange store. I
assumed from this that that was it's sole function. And after it finishes,
why can't it have a message stating what it has done and where it put the
messages?

All in all it took several hours to accomplish something that should have
taken a few minutes. That and I had to download a program to remove duplicate
messages.

I don't know what you mean by "Exchange store". When I do it, the messages
appear in Outlook in folders whose names match the folder names in Windows
Mail.
