Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2007

Jim Dawson

Machine one is running XP media edition, with email handled by Windows live
mail. All messages stored locally, no web account used.

Machine two is running Vista Home Premium with email handled by Outlook
2007.

I've tried numerous ways to get the email from machine one to machine two
without success. This includes exporting the messages to exchange and then
trying to import them into outlook -- which doesn't even see the files.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

On the old machine, if outlook is installed, export to microsoft exchange,
find the pst and move it to the other machine then open it in outlook using
File, Open Outlook data file.

If Outlook is not installed you'll need to either install it or move the
live mail data base to the new system. I have no idea how to do that tho.
