Outlook Backup

Whenever I try to backup my outlook pst file, I get an error message that
copy cannot be completed because some program has locked part of the file.
As far as I know there is nothing else running. How do I get around this?

the file. As far as I know there is nothing else running. How do I
get around this?

How are you trying to back it up?
Is Outlook closed?
Is outlook.exe running in the background? This can be caused by add-ins
(fax, handheld, antivirus software, etc)
