Outlook Outlook and Active X

Hi,


For some reason, when I create a new email I get an error about Active X. I changed my security settings and this message stopped pooping up.

However, I was just told by my colleague that when he recieved my email, he was unable to open due to an active X control problem. I can't ask everyone I email to change their security settings.

My signatures have a strange little grey box above them for some reason and I think this is involed in someway because it displayed as a red X (ie didn't display at all) before I aloowed ActiveX on my security settings.

I have tried to create a new signature but the little box is still there, I don't understand, Is there a way to stop my emails using activeX controls?

Does anyone know of a solution.

i dont really know the answer but have you reinstall outlook or repaired it?

Its on my computer at work and I don't have the Admin rights to do that. Are there any options I can set to get rid of it?

Is there anyone that has Admin rights to correct this issuse?
