outlook - abnormal program termination

I have Office XP Version 2002 installed on my PC and also Norton Internet
Security/Antivirus 2004. Since the summer when we installed the latest Norton
products we keep getting on all user accounts the following error message

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library
Runtime error
ProgramC:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\OFFICE 10\OUTLOOK.EXE

The message appears after accounts have been switched and once cancelled,
outlook installs normally.

Any ideas as to how to correct this?
 
I have had the same problem since I installed Norton Internet Security 2004
over a year ago. Intalled NIS 2005 and still have the problem. Works OK as
long as you do not switch user profiles. I have 4 user profiles and the it
very annoying. I guess all I can say is that you are not alone but have been
searching for a solution without success.
 
Thanks for your input. I guess we'll have to wait for Norton to come up with
a solution as the problem seems to arise from their software.
