Outlook 98 dial-up to DSL

I just switched from dial-up to DSL. I am able to send
and receive messages, but after the messages are
sent/received, Outlook 98 tries to dial-up on the line
that has been converted to DSL. How can I get it to stop
doing this? (When I installed DSL, I did not put a filter
on the line because we use the line exclusively for
internet connection -- I'm not sure if this would make a
difference.)

If you have an always on DSL then change the connection type to LAN this
setting will be in the Properties of the account in Outlook.
