OL2002 wants to connect to dial-up not new dsl acct.

I have changed our e-mail POP3 and SMTP e-mail settings
in Outlook 2002 to pick-up e-mail through our new DSL
always on server connection. But when I send/receive in
OL it gives me the pop up dialogue box to connect to our
old dial up account. We use the MS XP operating system.
Where can I go to turn off the auto dial/connect feature
for the dial up connection?

P.S. The DSL account is always on, of course.

Check the Properties of All yr accounts to ensure the correct connection is
selected
If you wish to keep an account set to yr old dial up ensure this is not
included in accounts to synchronise when sending/receiving
This also applies to yr Newsreader accounts
