Outlook 2007 saving attachments to temp folder

I have Outlook 2007, when I open Excel 2003 attachments, and then Save As in
Excel, the file is automatically directed to a temp Internet folder named
content.outlook. I already set up Excel to save on my D:\ drive, so how do I
get it to go the D:\ drive when opening the attachment from Outlook? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

You can't. When you opened the file directly from within Outlook, Outlook
needs to put it in a temp folder in order to open it. Save As... in Excel
always defaults to the current directory of the opened file.

Either save the message to D:\ first and then open it from there or ask in
an Excel newsgroup how you can always make the Save As... function default
to your D:\
