Problem with Excel 2007 attachment in Outlook 2007

Hi! I had met with a strange problem with Excel 2007(.xslx file) attachment
in Outlook 2007. When I try to preview the attached file in Preview Pane of
Outlook it tell me that there is a MS Office Excel previewer error. Double
clicking on the attached file opens Excel, but it reports that "file is found
having unreadable content" and offers to recover the content of the workbook.
Nevertheless it can't do the job of recovering.
I had read some topics about Outlook problems and already tryed the trick
with cleaning the Outlook temp folder. But it didn't help.
At the same time if you save the attached file and then try to open from
Excel directly it opens just fine. Also Excel 2003 files open without problem.
I also tryed Office diagnostic option and it found no errors.
Coud somebody know wat is the problem.

In Excel;
Office logo-> Excel Options-> Advanced-> section General-> disable: Ignore
other applications...

Thank you for your quick responce.
Unfortunately your suggestion didn't help as mentioned option was already
disabled.
That means the problem is not in DDE.

There must be something in the Excel file then which is being blocked when
being ran from Temp location. For instance untrusted code.
Another possibility is that the file get corrupted by a virus scanner that
integrates with Outlook and/or other Office appliations.

One thing you could try is by opening the message first by double clicking
it and then open the xlsx-file. This will open the attachment in read/write
mode instead of just read-only.
