Deleting temp int. files using Vista Outlook 2007?

Using Vista and Outlook 2007.
Found article:

Vista moves the Temp Internet folder to
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\,
so you'll need to look there for the OLK or Content.Outlook folder.

When i delete temp int files, i go to:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\,
But i just hit "cntrl-A" and delete all so there isn't a "OLK or
Content.Outlook folder"?

I also recently discovered more temp files by not clicking on my user name
but the generic "user" and found more but again i just hit "cntrl A" and
delete all:

C:\Users\users\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

I researched further by clicking on:

where i found:
To view the securetemp folder, at Start menu, run, type :

%temp%
and expand the Temporary Internet Folders branch to show the OLK* folder(s)
in the Folder list (left side of screen). Click the Folders button in the
Explorer toolbar (or View, Explorer Bar, Folders) if the folder list is not
shown.

Of course for me this just takes me to the temp int folder which now only
contains a few more temp files needing to be deleted. THere is no "OLK"
folder.

I also found the secure temp folder and Office 12.0 was already in there:
At start menu, Run, type regedit to open the registry editor.
Browse to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Outlook\Security
OutlookSecureTempFolder value

Bottom line question is am i deleting temp files correctly by deleting
everything in:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\

and after i do that why are there still temp int files when i go to:
C:\Users\users\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

Do i need to create an "OLK" folder within temp int. folder being that i
deleted everything in this folder already?

Bottom line; Run Disk Cleanup to remove temp files, & dont worry about
anything else
Temp Internet files can be deleted within IE Tools, where you can also
ammend the size settings for temp

how do i run disk cleanup because i doubt it will delet files.

please someone answer my questions below......

also,
when i get notification in my email and click on either link, explorer just
opens but page stays blank and page says done?

i've also tried numerous times to open explorer and then go into tools and
delete temp files but directly afterwards, if i go into path below, there are
still tons of tem files in the temp folder so "DL" answer didn't help at all!!

Have you even tried running Disk Cleanup?

No. Windows Explorer will not show folder structures below Temportary
Internet Files unless you know the name of the folder and include it in the
Address bar manually.

No. If you do manage to delete the OLK folder, Outlook will create a new one
for itself. Why not use the registry key described on the web page you cited
to a folder over which you have more control?

I am finding temp files when i delete them from:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\

but then i find more at:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\

Question is why after i delte temp files under my user name then when i go
in to general user/users...find more temp files?

Then you have two users, "username" and "user" with Windows accounts and each
user will have his or her own Internet termporary files. This, however, has
little to do with Outlook. You can put Outlook's Secure Temp Folder anywhere
you like. It doesn't have to stay under Temporary Internet Files where you
can't see it by browsing in Windows Explorer.

When i purchased computer and signed on for first time, it asked me to name
computer so i put my name and that's also what i see on c:.
The "User" file was default and came with computer. Should i delete this
then? I've never opened it up and when i do, it's basically a duplicate of
my name; Sandy??

Question2:
As far as delete temp files, am i doing this correctly by doing what i'm
doing:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\

what is the secured temp file and do i need to worry about that?
