Outlook 2007 Imap Junk EMail FOlder Problems

Hi-
Currently I use IMAP access with my school's email. However i have run into
a problem where my school's servers have a junk email folder, and outlook has
a junk email folder. Everytime i open outlook, outlook syncs its junk email
folder to my server creating 2 junk email folders. if i delete the folder
from the server and outlook, everytime i reopen outlook it creates it again.
I have also tried to unsubscribe the junk email folder but outlook won't
unsubscribe it because it says its a special folder. Any help please?

You can unsubscribe from one of them (Tools IMAP Folders ...) but if you try
unsubscribing from the one Outlook creates it might do it all over again.
Try anyway.

I tired unsubscribing from the outlook one but you cant, because outlook says
it is a "special folder." Is this a common bug, becuase most mail servers
have junk email now.

No. I'd suspect Outlook to want to keep its Junk Folder just as it would
Sent items and Inbox. I wouldn't say it's a "bug" but more of a "conflict".
I'd agree that if many servers use a Junk Email folder now that it should be
taken into consideration.
