Outlook 2003 screen format

One of my colleagues is using Outlook 2003. When she reads messages, the mail
is presented in the standard pale blue 2003 interface, but when she replies
to or writes messages, the interface is grey, with older-style buttons. The
messages are in rich text format, using Word 2003 as the mail editor. Do you
have any idea what could be causing this? We're baffled!

Word isn't usually used to read messages so you would be seeing the Outlook
Editor when reading.
I *think* you can set Outlook 2003 to read rtf messages with Word. Check in
Tools | Options | Mail Format tab - I don't have Outlook 2003 installed to
check sorry.
