Outlook 2003 rules: Move emails downloaded from specific POP3 Account

I have read many posts about setting up rules and delivering email to
different PST's, but what I'm trying to do is deliver mail to specific
FOLDERS in the SAME PST based on which POP3 account they are downloaded
from.

I can see how to move emails SENT to a specific email address, but
oftentimes I'll have emails in a POP3 account that are auto-forwarded
(forward set up on POP3 email software, where you can set up that emails
sent to one email address are automatically forwarded to another), and these
get by the "sent to" rule. I'm assuming this is due to the POP3 server (or
the software that is used by the POP3, I'm not familiar with the technology
so much) not adding an additional "to" header, like when emails are manually
forwarded by a user when viewing an opened email. In other words, I'm
guessing that the auto-forward utility does not change any "to" header info.

So, I see an option during the Rules wizard to check "through this specified
account," but I can't UNcheck the "to" option and just move emails that are
being downloaded through the specified account.

To summarize, I want to be able to set a rule that moves any emails being
downloaded from a specific inbox to a specific folder. For instance, all
emails in the (e-mail address removed) to be moved to the TOM folder, all the
emails in the (e-mail address removed) to be moved to the Dick folder, etc.,
regardless of what might be in the "to" header info.

Using Outlook 2003 and SmarterMail 3.0.

Any help on this would be appreciated, and thanks for reading.

Is the ‘sent to’ option that you refer to another rule that you have set up?
If so does it appear in the list before the one that you are trying to
create? If so then the ,sent to, rule will be applied before the ‘received
through’ rule. You could try moving the ‘received through’ rule up the list
by highlighting it and clicking the up arrow next to the ‘delete’ option.

Thanks very much for the response. I had set up the "Sent To" rule and was
trying to use the "through this account" box in the same rule. What
happened was that when I checked "through this account" and then UNchecked
the "sent to" box while building the rule, I received an error that a rule
value hadn't been set. However, in deleting the rule to try again after
your response, it DID work. I hope we can all call this a fluke machine
error, as opposed to the whole user error thing.
