Outlook 2003 not showing new messages in bold

The word "Inbox" is in bold, but none of the messages are set to bold. I can
look at the envelope to see if it is read or unread, but I am so busy I would
like to be able to glance at my inbox and see what is unread.
 
Right click on Inbox folder in folder view and select Properties and check
Show unread items.
