Outlook 2003 Junk Mail Filter

I have recently switched from Express to Outlook 2003. The Junk mail
filtering is confusing, is there a way that items marked as junk mail and
the blocked senders list be deleted instead of moving them to the Junk Mail
folder? The option to delete the junk mail in the options section just
decides it's junk and deletes it as I see the option. Right now I have many
addresses in the blocked list but they seem to get moved to the junk folder
anyway, I just want those deleted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Actions>Junk E-mail>Junk E-mail Options (or Tools>Options>Junk E-mail).
Check the box labeled "Permanently delete suspected junk e-mail instead of
moving it to the Junk E-mail folder" will prevent incoming messages found to
be junk to be deleted instead of placed in the Junk E-mail folder. There is
no way in Outlook to mark a message as junk. The best you can do is to
place a sender address (or the sender domain) in the Blocked Senders list,
but that's not the same thing and it's not an effective SPAM control
strategy.

Hi Brian
Thank you for the answer but does that mean that the ones that Outlook
decides on it's own to be junk will be deleted automatically without seeing
them or will it only delete the ones on the blocked mail list?

Messages whose senders are in the Blocked Senders list will be reated
exactly the same way messages detected by the Junk E-mail filter will be
treated. If you have the Junk E-mail options set to use the Junk E-mail
folder, they'll all be moved. If you have them set to delete junk mail,
they'll be deleted. All junk mail is treated exactly the same way.
