Outlook 2003 Contacts Update

GaribaldiCU

I'm working with a VERY picky dean right now. We recently moved her
from an old PINE/UNIX setup to an Outlook/Exchange 2003 environment.
The problem she's having is in updating her contacts. When she
right-clicks and address and tells Outlook to add it to her contacts
list, much of the time it prompts her to either update an existing
contact or create a new one. She wants to update, but not add a second
email address. Rather, she wants to overwrite the current email
address. I've scoured for an option, but can't find one. Is there
anyway to make this happen? Thanks...

There's no way to make that happen automatically. She'll have to either add the address through the update mechanism or open the existing contact and copy the new address in to replace the old.
