Outlook 2002 calendar question

Good Morning,
I have Office XP when using Outlook 2002 in the calendar I am no longer
able to add a new appointments, every time I try I get a out of memory or
system resources error.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office XP but the problem continues.

I do not have any other programs running except for zone alarm and Norton's
anti virus when I am trying to use the calendar. Although I was able in the
past to run several at one time.

Can anyone please help?

Maybe your Outlook.pst file is getting too large.
Delete old entries and try compacting/compressing Outlook.pst
in File | Data file management | select Outlook.pst | Settings.
(have dutch version, hope translation comes close)
