Outlook 2002 Calendar Form Error

R

Rob in MD

Currently have Windows XP Home Edition w/SP3 Build 2600. Just had computer
hard drive replaced and the old one re-imaged on the new drive. When I try
to open an appointment in the calendar for Outlook 2002, I now get an error
that says the form is wrong. Cannot save new appointments either. No
problems with eithe the Contacts or Tasks. Can anyone tell me how to correct
this or reset the calendar forms back to the original one?

I get two different error messages. When I try to open a calendar entry, te
error says: "The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an
Outlook form instead. The form required to view this message cannot be
displayed. Contact your administrator." After clicking OK, the appoitment
opens.

The second error message shows up when I try to save a new appointment:
"Could not save item. The form required to view this messsage cold not be
displayed. Contact your administrator."

I have not made any changes to the forms; in fact, I'm not sure how I would
even do that. I am running the program on my home computer so I guess I
would be te administrator.

Thanx or you assistance

Thanks! I cleared the cache and all seems to be working now. BTW, I have
not been using the custom forms.

Were you using a custom form before?
