Outlook 2000 Filters Applied problem

I have a user who has not set up any filters, yet every morning when she
signs in, her inbox is empty of the messages that were there when she closed
out the day before and (filters applied) shows at the top of the inbox. We
clear all filters as Microsoft suggests in their KB article, but it just
comes back the next day. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen?
Please help
