Outlook Messages Being Removed Automatically

I have a user who is having a problem when viewing emails in her INBOX.
When she reads the item or prints it, it disappears from the INBOX, never to
be seen again. I can't seem to find any trace of it in the DELETED items or
anywhere else. The only rules she has are for NEW MAIL items to display a
message. She has no filter applied.
Any ideas?
 
Make sure the current view on her Inbox is set to "Messages"

If that doesn't work, start Outlook from the Run dialogue: outlook.exe
/cleanviews
 
As I already stated their are no filters applied. The view is set to MESSAGES
