Out of Disk Space

I have a Win2K PDC which ran out disk space on the C:
drive. When I rebooted I received a message that Directory
Services could not be loaded and I must boot using
Directory Services Recovery Mode. However my password does
not work. Is it possible to access the file system another
way, to delete unused files and free up space. Any help
will be greatly appreciated.

If you can log on in safe mode you can use the setpwd.exe tool to reset the
restore mode password

Failing that, NTFSDOS Pro from Winternals gives you read\write access to
drives through a dos boot disk.

After you gather more disk space make sure that
replication begins again.
You can use repadmin /showreps for AD replication.

Look in the FRS event log for errors and make sure the FRS
service is running.
