Is it just my impression, or has this NG become ripe for retirement?
With an average of less than 1 message per day (normally for updates
which happen automatically anyway) ....
 
I hope not, I still check it out and post when new upgrades or updates to
security programs come out

There are many groups on the MS News Server that are dormant or semi-dormant
that generate chat traffic totally off topic from the original intention of the group.

This is what has happened here, obviously. Until MS pulls it, is here.

That would not prevent MS from pulling this group out of action, Robin.
I hope this does not happen anytime soon.

As a rule, posters here are quite well behaved and a breath of fresh
air compared to some other security/malware NGs.
