One flaw in MSIE6 (and its predecessors) that's always irritated me is
that, when I'm adding links to a Favorites folder, I have to
repeatedly navigate to that folder from the top every time, with
Favorites>Addto Favorites... When I'm researching one specific
subject, then I want to go back to the *same* folder, so this design
is annoyoingly tedious.

Does anyone know of a utility or hack to allow this please?

Shift + Organise Favourites then drag the icon in the addressbar or titlebar.

Thanks, but can you run that by me again please, as I don't follow!

I have MSIE6 open, and want to save that page to a folder, say Music.

If I click Favorites in the manin menu and then hold shift while
clicking Organize Favorites, then I get the full Favorites folder
opened as a My Computer folder. (Which, BTW, I can do as one click
with a shortcut I have set up.) But how does that help me achieve what
I described please? What is 'the icon' in your one-liner?

There is only one icon on the addressbar or titlebar.

It's a stupid question. Of course the isn't.

If you follow David's instructions, you do indeed, get an Explorer view. Use
your head! From that view, you can drag and drop your shortcuts to a folder
instead of the tedious maneuvers you describe by simply clicking "Organize
Favorites".

I made a miss-lick David, I didn't mean to post back to you.
