Hi NoSpan, Alan Edwards, et al,
After several reboots my Favorites folder returned back to my C: drive!
Could there another Registry key to tweak? Below are the original instruction of NoSpam
and I did it manually with regedit command.
Please help me one more time -- I don't want to lost all my saved URL when calamity come.
TIA. --Rino

Merge in the .reg file below
Change "D:\\Favorites" to match where you want them,
and move your current favorites to that place.
Note the doubling of the backslashes in the path specifications
(watch out for wrapping
- the [ and ] are at the beginning and end of one line)

--------------------------------------------------------------
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\Shell Folders]
"Favorites"="D:\\Favorites"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\User Shell Folders]
"Favorites"="D:\\Favorites"

Hi Rino,

With Tweak UI, navigate to "My Computer">"Special Folders", and on the
right-side you can change the location of your folder.

Actually, when I completed my navigation I've to click the small down arrow head
and located Favorites as the #4th choices down > Apply > click OK to exit. I started
Moving my Favorites folder to my D: drive location again as it cannot be deleted because
Windows refused it to be Deleted. Check and reboots and doubled checks from IE to WE
and finally found that it really works!

Awesome, Thank you so much for the help! Curt Christianson - you're very kind and helpful.
Easy to do, don't think I would have figure this out without your help. YES, this is the easy
way and I loved it ;o)
