shell folder won't be modified...

I changed favorites item to my own "D:\My Data\Favorites" in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders

But it won't be changed. it rolls back.

I use Windows XP pro on Evo N800v Compaq laptop.
I didnot change any additional windows registry settings.

That is normal for Favorites and you may also notice that it even disappears
for awhile when modifying.
