Option for Word in Mail Format is greyed out.

In Outlook 2002 Tools>Options>Mail Format the Word options are greyed out.
How can these be accessed to make Word our email editor please?

Do you also have Word 2002 installed? Check Help-> About on both Outlook and
Word to see if the major versions match. It should start with a 10.

Many thanks for your reply.

Outlook is 2003 (11.8118.8122) SP2 & Word is 2002 (10.6826.6825) SP3.

Is this a problem?

If so presumably we must wait until we upgrade to Office 2007.

downgrade to Outlook 2002 if you want to use Word as the email editor.
