how do i turn on autocorrect options? It is greyed out in editor

When I go to Tools-> Options->Mail Format-> Eidtor Options->Proofing the top
section of the autocomplete is greyed out so i can't change the settings? How
do i activate it?
 
What version of outlook and do you have the full office suite or just
outlook?
