Signature Block Greyed Out

For some inexplicable reason, the signature block under 'Tools/Options/Mail
Format' is greyed out. This has been working OK forever, but this weekend
some change was made. Ideas appreciated.

You didn't mention what version of Outlook you are using or steps, but under
earlier versions I seem to remember this happening when Word is on as the
e-mail editor. (This does not apply to Outlook 2007.)
