operating crash

When turning my computer on i get 2 short beeps and the
bios comes up. It says, we appologize for the inconvenience
windows didn't start successfully. Choose last known
configuration. Start windows is highlighted. When I press
enter it says windows will start in 26 seconds. It counts
down to zero and nothing happens. All the keys are frozen.
What do I do? I'm running XP Pro.

If you are getting two short beeps, that's not from XP, that's a hardware
issue. If your system didn't come with a manual that explains the
motherboard beeps, take it to a ship because regardless of what we do, you
will still have this issue that appears to be the source of whatever problem
you are having.
