Hi,
i'm having a problem regarding Last Known Good Configuration.
my computer had an initial problem and i managed to get rid of that by copying hal.dll file from my windows XP cd.
but to cut the long story short, now everytime i turn my computer on, it loads a different (or perhaps old/incorrect) configuration of windows and that default configuration of windows has a problem and i have to turn the cpu switch off and on again.
in order for it to load properly, i have to hit F8, choose last known good configuration and pick the right configuration. i have to do this each time i start my computer now. i'm just wondering if there is a way to delete the incorrect configuration or set the right configuration to default such that i don't have to keep hitting F8 everytime i start up my computer?
