opening mail

Can anyone please help me with this problem that I have. I use outlook
express and get lots of Spam mail.I have Spam inspector but to put them
there I have to click on the mail so what I would like to know is how do I
delete them without opening them,I have tried lots of things but nothing
works.

Turn off the Preview Pane. View | Layout. You can put the button on the
Toolbar also. View | Layout | Customize Toolbar.

You say "I have Spam inspector but to put them there I have to click on the
mail." Put them where? A special folder? Can the messages be automatically
diverted with a message rule?
