Excel Opening an excel spreadsheet

Hi, I am not very good with computer workings and I have moved to Windows XP from Windows 2000 and now none of my Excel spreadsheets will open. Do I need extra software or I am doing something wrong? Help please.

You need to install Microsoft Office.

Or if you just want to view them without editing, download the Excel viewer:

If you want to edit them you can either buy MS Office or install Open Office for free:
