Opening a Link in a New Window

After I have the browser open and I open a link in a new
window, I only get a status bar for the new window and I
have to manually expand the window to read it. Is there
any way that I can change this default from opening a new
window in something larger than a status bar? If there is
a way, tell me.
 
Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
