a pop-up window was blocked

Several websites have links that attempt to open a new
browser window. When this happens, the IE status bar
states "a pop-up window was blcoked." Is there any way
to allow the window to open?

Disable the pop-up blocker by holding down the Ctrl key as you click the
link?

I am glad I finally came here. I have tried everything I could possibly think
of to get rid of the pop up blocker and this worked. Thank you. I will check
here first going forward.
