'Open in New Window' hangs!

When I right click a link on a web page and select 'Open in New Window' the
new window pops up but only a blank page appears with the egg timer running.
It stays there until I close it. If I just left click a link the page opens
as normal replacing the previous page. I seem to have no other problems with
IE. This is really frustrating. Any idea's?
