old software

Is there any way of using windows 98 software on windows
2k when no software upgrade is available. Dual boot is not
a solution I wish to use however.
Many thanks for any advice.
 
From the "Run" box
regsvr32 %windir%\AppPatch\slayerui.dll
to enable application compatibility mode.
