OL2003 pst import problem

I have copied the pst file (500MB) from a pc and am trying to import
it to a new pst file in a new pc.
(maybe I should have first exported it.) But anyway on the new pc the
import shows the folders of the pst file being imported. However on
completion only the Personal folder and deleted items sub folder are
displayed with nothing in. If I go to the folder properties in OL2003
all the appropriate information, ie folders and sub folders are in
there.

Any help greatly appreciated.

instead of doing an import, open the pst file (file/open/outlook data file)
it will show up as a personal folder, then copy/move stuff into the other
folder.
