offline printer probs

we have a laser printer on our network shared by the
computer it is conncected to. sometimes the printer goes
offline, is it possible to get the printer back online
without restarting the computer
 
You'll have to desactivate SNMP in your TCPIP Port parameters
But i don't know the reason this kind of error...I keep on searching
