Offline files

We have 5 new laptops. All map a drive the user home folder. Offline files
are enabled and synchronizing occurs at logon and logoff. Everything works
well until the computer is switched off. After restarting the computer I
examine the "Enable offline files" setting and find that it is unchecked. I
check it, synchronize will occur until the computer is restarted again.

Any guesses, suggestions, answers would be appreciated.
