Hi Elite,

"troll" is Usenet slang for someone who deliberately posts just to be rude
or to start trouble. Nobody meant "troll" as in monster under the bridge.

Usenet, as a subsection of the internet, refers to the worldwide system of
newsgroups, like this one. The Web access that you are using is just one
way to enter Usenet.

And "wizz" in the sense you are using it is spelled "whiz".

If you really are 12 years old then I'd say you have a bit of growing
up to do. One of the hardest lessons in life, but most important, is
learning its okay to admit when you are wrong and that you can't
possibly know everything.

As Dayo noted, the reason you have been called a troll is in light of
the advice you have been posting in the newsgroups. Your suggestions
are so bad and so incredibility off the wall that one can only surmise
you are trolling the newsgroups trying to start trouble.

If you aren't trying to cause problems then I encourage you to
research your suggestions first. Otherwise we will know you are
trolling the newsgroups.

IOW, you have another chance to demonstrate you are here to
participate and not cause trouble. You'll find the newsgroups are one
of the best places to expand your knowledge and one thing is for
sure - you never stop learning. :)

You know. I'm starting to think clueless isn't a strong-enough word
for all of you. I mean really, a troll?!? Did any of your parents
teach you maners? Or even commin sense for that matter??? To tell you
all the truth I'm 12 YEARS OLD!!! And I've been the "Family computer
wizz" for quite some time now. Let me tell you something, I locked
somones computer one day (I'm not stupid enough to say who) and he
went to work and couldn't open it (this had nothing to do with a
password). So he asked an expert and HE couldn't open it. So he comes
back to me and a 2 or 3 buttons pushed, it was unlocked. (And I still
used office for 8 or 9 years and hadd no trouble with 4.3.)

Now you go again, offering absurd suggestions. <g> I'm not perfect and
have never claimed to be.

I am a bit disappointed that you've proved me wrong though - I was
hoping you were here to participate and just got started off on the
wrong foot. :-(
