Office Assistant-error message.

Help,
Ever since I installed FrontPage 2003, I get the following error in all my
office programs (XP)

"There are no office assistant character files present on the system.
Please run Setup in maintenance mode and install at least one character."

Sometimes the assistant is there and sometimes it isn't. I don't always
show it, but I do use it.

I reinstalled FrontPage 2003 and it seemed to be ok for a couple of days ...
now it's ok.

Is there a way to fix this irritating problem as the error message comes up
everytime I open any program in the office (XP) or Frontpage 2003.

I did a search in the MS knowledgebase on their site, but didn't fine
anything.

Thanks for any help.

Control Panel - Add remove Programs (Office 2003 or FP 2003) and add features
- make sure the Office assistant is set to run all from disc

Hi Stefan,
That's how I set it up and it's how it runs "most" of the time. Every now
and again, however, it decides to fail. It's wierd behaviour, that's for
sure. I didn't have the problem until I installed FrontPage 2003 which I
have since uninstalled and reinstalled ... but the problem continues ...
although sporadically.
Thanks for your response.

The FP2003 (Office 2003 common tools) are different than the Office XP ones
- last one in rules
If you only use Office Assistant in XP in FP remove the Assistant and in XP reinstall it
- or upgrade Office XP to Office 2003
