MS Office 2003 FP Missing!

I have MS Office 2003 Professional, but when I went to add the FrontPage
portion, I find that it is not listed as a choice. Because I have had this
version of office installed since 2003, I haven't thought much about
FrontPage, until recently, as I now have a web site. I theorized it was not
in my program menu as I may not have chosen to install it in the first place.
Can anyone explain? Should I have it with my other MS Office 2003 programs?
How can I get FPage installed?

FrontPage 2003 has never been a part of any Office suite - it has always
been a stand alone program. FP 2000 and FP2002 were the only versions that
were part of an office suite.
FrontPage 2003 is the very last version of FrontPage, and has been replaced
by Expression Web and Ms Office SharePoint Designer.
A free trial of Expression Web is available at
http://www.microsoft.com/expression
(best to install the trial on or soon after first day of a calendar month,
since then the 30 day trial will stretch to 2 months...)

FP 2003 is a stand-alone program that was not bundled with an Office suite.
FP has been discontinued and replaced with Expression Web. If you think
you'd rather have FP, you might still find a copy available on Amazon.

What software do you suggest for a person who wants to do the minor editing
parts of their web site?

Depends on your definition of minor, and your skill level.
Notepad is suitable for minor edits if you know HTML and CSS well.
Expression Web requires some knowledge of HTML and CSS, as do most other
web design packages.

I suggest Express Edition of Visual Web Developer from here:

It is free and you can use it as long as you like. You can also get books from
AMAZON to learn Express Editions of all packages.

Also, SharePoint Designer is now available as a free download...it's a
hybrid version of FP 2003.
