Can anyone tell me what "maintenance mode" is? I am
getting this error when I open Frontpage 2003....There
are no Office Assistant character files present on the
system. Please run Setup in maintenance mode and install
at least one character.

Thanks for your help!!!!!

This means running FrontPage setup after FrontPage is
already installed. The setup program enters a mode where
you can repair your FrontPage installation, or add and
remove components.

So, under Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs:

1. Select Change or Remove Programs.
2. Double-click Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003.
3. Click Change.
4. Select Add or Remove Features.
5. Click Next.
6. Open Office Shared Features, and either disable
Office Assistant or enable at least one character.
